PSA Testing
As part of our Men’s Health Awareness Month we are offering opportunistic PSA (prostate specific antigen) blood testing to eligible men. PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) testing is a blood test that measures the level of PSA, a protein produced by the prostate gland. Elevated levels can be a sign of prostate cancer, but can also be caused by non-cancerous conditions like an enlarged prostate or infection. PSA testing doesn’t diagnose cancer but helps identify men who may need further investigation. It’s important to discuss the benefits and limitations with your GP before having the test, especially if you’re over 50 or have a family history of prostate cancer. #MensHealth #PSATest #ProstateCancerAwareness

Mental Health Matters
Men’s mental health is a vital but often overlooked issue. Many men struggle in silence due to stigma, societal expectations, or fear of seeming weak. As a result, men are less likely to seek help and more likely to die by suicide—three out of four suicides in the UK are men. It’s important to break the silence, encourage open conversations, and remind men that it’s OK to ask for help. Talking saves lives, and support is always available. 💬 #MensMentalHealth #ItsOKNotToBeOK
