Unfortunately at this time we are experiencing a large number of staff shortages. Please accept our apologise if you experience and delay in services. We are working extremely hard to manage the situation.

Please note: The Practice does not perform blood tests for private clinics. These need to be done on a private basis and arranged by the private clinic themselves.

Acute Prescriptions

These are issued at the time you see the doctor. They may be for tablets, medicines, creams or sprays and some appliances. The doctor will tell you how to use the prescribed item and usually those instructions are repeated on the bottle.

We use these acute prescriptions when only a short treatment is needed or when we are starting a new treatment. If the medicine doesn't work or upsets you the doctor won't know unless you tell him/her! If the original problem is still troublesome let your doctor know either in writing, by phone or by making a further appointment.
